A lot of friends constantly ask me about my story. What’s the deal with SmartGym? And SoundShare? How did I start? Why did I choose this path? Why don’t I simply get a normal job at an awesome company and so on…
I’m known to be really secretive about my personal life and specially about my work life. I will probably continue to be, after all, mystery is great for business. :) Although, a few years ago I wrote a similar post focused on SoundShare.
But I will try to tell my story and how SmartGym came to be.

We have amazing gyms around the world, but many have the same problem: a piece of paper they give us with all our routines and exercises. Some gyms give us the option to print ours everyday (terrible for the environment), others have our routines printed once and then put it inside a plastic bag so it doesn’t get torn out. And others leave it up to us to figure out how we will access them.
But the majority of places that at least try to help us with something, is still using a piece of paper, which is…
With iOS 10, Apple introduced iMessage Apps and an entire App Store just for this type of apps.
The idea is simple, you can install apps inside the iMessage app. They'll run in the place of the keyboard and can be a lot of things, like games, productivity apps, stickers and more.
To me, this kind of app should be all about solving a problem in a simple and fun way. So I set out to create SoundShare's iMessage App.
Music is one of the best things in life, because it has the power to change everything. It inspires us…
SoundShare brings a whole new experience to social music. It allows anyone to see what their friends are listening to, like, comment, tag their friends on songs and of course, build collaborative playlists. But SoundShare goes a lot further, it breaks walls down, it brings people closer because it is a cross platform social network. Which means that users on Apple Music can interact with their friends on Spotify, Deezer or just SoundShare. There is no fragmentation anymore.
Today, we are bringing a really cool new feature that takes social even further. Collaborative Up Next. Up Next is what’s coming…
Today is really easy to listen to what we love. We have Youtube, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud, iTunes and many more other music services.
But this number of services creates a problem, fragmentation. To me, one of the best things about music is discoverability and being able to exchange my discoveries with friends. Every single music service offers their own version of "the best" way to discover new songs. Some say they will understand your taste and recommend you stuff they know you will like, others try to create smart radios playlists and so on. But what about friends…
I’m thrilled to say that SoundShare's version 2.7 fully integrates with Spotify, bringing pretty much everything from Spotify to SoundShare’s users. But it also goes a lot further. It allows Spotify users to interact with Apple Music users as well as users on Deezer, Youtube, iTunes and SoundCloud.
SoundShare is a full featured social music network. It allows you to see and play what your friends are listening to, like their songs, add a comment, tag friends, build regular and collaborative playlists and much more.
Many Apple Music users have been asking Apple to add real social features to the service. A way to see what their friends are listening to, their playlists and specially a way to build collaborative playlists.
I'm thrilled to say that SoundShare brings all this to every single Apple Music user. But it also goes a lot further. Not only it allows any user to see what their friends are listening to, their playlists and to build collaborative playlists, it also gives you a way to like their songs, add a comment and tag a friend.
SoundShare is a full…
